Easter Bank Holiday

The cut-off for a Bank Holiday delivery is 10am Wednesday 1st April. The Online Shop will be closed from 5:30pm Thursday 2nd April - 08:30am Tuesday 7th April.

We are launching our Sunshine Box early this year, just in time for the Easter Bank Holiday.

This time the box will include 6 x 330ml Table Beer and 6 x 330ml Lagerbier, perfect for the (hopefully) warmer weather.

First up on our new release is Hopfenweisse - Idaho 7, 4.9%

Our annual take on a modern German style; the Hopfenweisse, which sees a wheaty base beer that has been moderately dry hopped. We have tried a few different hops throughout the years but we have found that Idaho 7 works best for this style.

There's a tension here that we think works. The potential clash of the piney hop and the yeasty esters is avoided by a low late addition, which pulls the fruit without the resin and pairs well with the (fingers crossed) sunshine.

You can expect notes of wheat, grass and hay beside citrus peel. A touch of coconut bounces through some hints of spice and orangey fruit flavours present throughout. The beer is very round with a full mouth feel and a long, dry yet sweet finish.

Next up is the Running Porter, 5%

First brewed last year in collaboration with Neal's Yard Dairy as a part of their EAT THEM OR LOSE THEM campaign, which is an initiative spearheaded by Neal's Yard Dairy with the aim of reinvigorating interest in British Territorial Cheeses. You can read more about this campaign here.

We wanted this to be a little lighter and fresher than the other porter recipes we brew, to acknowledge its 'running' nature, and to pair better with the territorial cheeses that inspired this collaboration. This beer leans into light cocoa, almost cola aromatics, with the herbal fruity hedgerow of the Goldings and Bramlings Cross. The body is refreshing, a touch of warmth, a touch of roast, a touch of tea-like tannins. It moves through a red-berry phase into a hazlenut / praline roundness, then a clean dry finish.

Get It Before Its Gone

The following beers are either low or not available on our Online Shop, but you can still find them out in the world.

East India Pale Ale - London 1897

Based on a Fuller’s recipe from 1897. While London was the point of origin of the East India Pale Ale, by this time it was no longer the centre of the production of pale beers bound for India (this had moved to Burton). We chose a London recipe, as that is who we are, and it appeals to us to try to connect once again with London’s brewing history, this time to situate IPAs once again within the city's brewing lineage.

This year we’ve brewed the beer with Ernest hops, a modern English variety with a distinctly British character — hedgerow fruit, soft citrus and a little spice. Bright, bitter, and built for drinking.

This is Mauritz's favourite beer so get it quick before he drinks it all!

Spring Pale Ale - Cask

A seasonal cask-only release, this Spring Pale Ale is a celebration of freshness and balance. On cask, Citra’s tropical and citrus aromatics are softened and rounded, with a gentle carbonation that enhances the beer’s drinkability. It’s bright, clean, and finishes with the delicate bitterness we love in a cask pour.

Spring Pale Ale truly captures the season; light, lush, and welcoming.
